Sheetla Mata Mandir is Gurgaon‘s most popular temple, The temple dedicated to Mata Sheetla Devi, Sheetla Mata, Kripi/Kripai/Lalitha is the wife of Guru Dronacharya. Guru Droncharya is the friend of Guru Sukracharya and the teacher of Pandavas & Kauravas.

The temple is located in the north of Gurugram village near the temple of Dronacharya. 


The Sheetla Mata temple was built in the 18th century by the Hindu Jat king Jawahar Singh of Bharatpur, in memory of his victory over the Mughals, for which he had invoked the blessings of Sheetla Mata.
