1. Situated in Gurgaon, Sultanpur National Park and Bird Sanctuary are flourishing with shrubs and trees along with a variety of beautiful plants. It lies on Gurgaon- Farukh Nagar Road. You can enjoy watching the birds and wildlife from a distance with a pair of binoculars, as they shall not be disturbed. The sanctuary is equipped with four watchtowers that are located at different points.

One can find kingfishers, Teals, Egrets, Darters, Lapwings, Demoiselle, and a variety of species in this sanctuary. The flora of this place is very attractive; flora includes jamun, acacia, banyan tree, tendu, grasses, khair and dhok. Vegetation is dry deciduous and tropical. Besides the sanctuary, there is a lake. The lake is a picnic spot for locals along with boating facilities. The sanctuary was founded by the birdman Dr. Salim Ali. Winter is the best time to visit the place; this is the time when a large number of bird species come here to spend the winters.
