The Wine Company Brings Masterchef Saraf Todd‘s Culinary Magic To Gurgaon. Celebrate your favourite wine bar’s 4th anniversary with an all-new menu

The Wine Company, Delhi NCR’s first stand-alone, and most loved wine bar and restaurant is all set to celebrate their 4th Anniversary, with an all-new menu, curated by celebrity chef Sarah Todd.

The restaurant had been conceptualized by ace hospitality entrepreneur Ashish Dev Kapur, the man behind the very successful Antares in Goa and Whisky Samba in Gurgaon and the Wine Rack in Mumbai. Ashish along with his business partner Joydeep Singh, want to popularize the concept of pairing the right wine when eating out. Speaking about their success and having completed four years of operations, Ashish Dev Kapur said – “The Wine Company was one of India’s first, stand-alone wine bars and popularized the concept of wine tasting, dining and celebrating with wine. We are delighted to celebrate our 4th anniversary with the culinary genius, Sarah Todd reinventing our menu with her signature touch. We want to open up our patron’s minds and palettes by guiding them on the nuances of wine and food pairing.”

After the phenomenal success of Antares and The Wine Rack Mumbai, the celebrated model turned chef, and winner of MasterChef Australia, Sarah Todd is coming to the capital to create culinary magic. The Wine Company’s new dining menu reflects Sarah’s love for Indian food and fresh local produce and features progressive versions of Indian street food finding place amongst other, assorted plates of bar food. The highlights of the menu include Flaming Kalaari Cheese, Soft Shell Crab Pakora Nahm Jim, Red Wine Duck Kulcha, Goan Pork Sausage bhut jolokia risotto, Kashmiri style pork ribs apple wine jam and the iced nougat.

Speaking about the menu, Sarah Todd said – “As our borders shrink and blur, the emergence of a global food culture has increased a yearning for the familiar and forgotten, a sense of belonging – and that is the sentiment I want to evoke with my food. An evocative sense of being one with the destination, a connection to the people who live there and the community they’ve developed. This is one of the reasons my menu includes my take on local street food – elements that give the locals a sense of place, and visitors a slice of the local. As I explore India and forge a deeper bond with people all over the country, I had an urge to break the barrier that – Indian food doesn’t go with wine. I’m here to turn that on its head with a menu with signature dishes like Raan Kolhapuri  served with Avocado Raita and Boondi served atop a betel leaf and so much more”

The very popular Cyberhub destination which offers a selection of 200 wines, from across 35 countries and wine regions, now features a renovated, glamorous bar. The Wine Company is also going to launch an all-new Mimosa bar – a fresh, bubbly concept to add to the chic, upmarket vibe of the space. The beverage menu features a whole new cocktail bar, and will be one of the first in the city to offer “Wine Trails”. The current global rage – FROSE, also finds its way to Delhi and will be served complimentary to all diners. In the coming months, Ashish and team are looking forward to introducing “Bottomless Mimosa Brunches” making the restaurant an ideal Sunday spot.

The Wine Company was the first bar to showcase a unique concept of a wine cellar shop within the restaurant, allowing you to choose your bottle of wine. The interiors of the restaurant boast wooden interiors with large barrels placed as tables, along with high tables and chairs similar to a tasting room at a wine cellar. The restaurant exudes warmth and is an inviting space, ideal for celebrations and bonhomie of all sorts.
