Ordering Lebanese like a regular

A solid Lebanese order for two: one hummus or muhammara with fresh pita, a fattoush or tabbouleh, and a shawarma plate or mixed grill to share. Vegetarians do better at Lebanese restaurants than almost any other West Asian cuisine, thanks to falafel, moutabal and halloumi. Lunch hours bring meal-deal pricing at most of the spots above, while delivery travels well for mezze but less so for pita, which stiffens; if you are ordering in, ask for the bread packed separately. Expect around Rs. 900-1,500 for two at the sit-down places and half that at the quick-service counters.
