Anyone who has bought a new car in Gurugram knows the routine. You visit three or four showrooms along Golf Course Road or MG Road, sit through the same pitch, collect quotes that list different accessories and insurance, and then spend a week on the phone trying to compare them. CarBounty, a startup headquartered at Palm Court in Sector 16, wants to remove most of that legwork.
How CarBounty works
The idea is simple. A buyer posts one requirement, covering the model, variant, colour and timeline. Authorised dealerships then send complete on-road offers into a private space the company calls the Offer Room. The buyer stays anonymous until they choose an offer, so there are no follow-up calls from every showroom they enquired at.
Dealers can see that they are competing and can revise their offers, which puts the pressure on price where it belongs: on the seller, not the buyer.
The ₹999 refundable deposit
To open an Offer Room, buyers pay a ₹999 deposit. It signals to dealers that the enquiry is serious. According to CarBounty, if the buyer does not like any offer, or changes their mind before choosing one, the full amount is refunded in two to three working days. The company states the deposit is the only money it holds.
Which cars are covered
The platform lists on-road prices for Delhi NCR across Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Tata, Toyota, Kia, Skoda, Volkswagen, Nissan and MG. Each model page breaks the on-road price into ex-showroom price, registration, insurance and other charges, alongside running cost and EMI estimates. That makes it easier to see where two dealer quotes actually differ before you sign anything. For example, the Hyundai Creta on-road price page lists every variant with its Delhi NCR price.
Why it matters for Gurgaon buyers
Gurugram has dealerships for almost every brand spread across the city, from Udyog Vihar to Sohna Road. That choice is useful, but it also makes comparing quotes slow. Quotes often bundle extended warranties, accessory kits and insurance in different ways, which hides the real price gap. A single format for every offer is the most practical part of the service.

Tips before you use any car-buying platform
- Fix your variant and colour first. Offers are only comparable if they are for the same car.
- Ask for the insurance quote separately. Dealer insurance is often more expensive than buying it yourself.
- Check whether accessories are optional. Many are added by default.
- Do a pre-delivery inspection (PDI) before you pay the balance.
