Meet The Youngest Deputy Commissioner of Gurgaon, Dr. Yash Garg, IAS, Deputy Commissioner of Gurugram, A 2009 batch IAS officer, has earlier taken over as the Municipal Commissioner of Faridabad, Rohtak in (2018) and Deputy Commissioner in Rewari in (2017).
Dr. Yash Garg, IAS officer, was appointed the deputy commissioner of Gurugram on 19th Jan, 2022. Dr. Garg will replace current Deputy Commissioner of Gurugram Mr. Amit Khatri, who has gone on study leave till October 2022 to pursue a course in the United States.
Before this Mr. Garg was the commissioner of Municipal Corporation of Faridabad (MCF) Haryana. Dr. Yash Garg also promised to improve the education system, health and sports facilities during his term.
Dr. Yash Garg, holds an MBBS degree from Maulana Azad Medical College New Delhi and had worked as a junior resident doctor at Lok Nayak Hospital.
