Narendra Modi inaugurated KMP (Kundli-Manesar-Palwal) Expressway! Delhi got the fourth ring road known as Western Peripheral Expressway or (KMP) Kundli-Manesar-Palwal Expressway. The total length of this highway is 136 kilometres and completed at the cost of INR 6,400 crore, it took 15 years of time to made this project.
This highway links to National Highway-1 (NH1) (Delhi to Panipat), NH-8 (Jaipur-Gurgaon-Delhi Road), NH 10 (Hisar Rohtak-Delhi Road).

This new Expressway will aim to reduce the heavy vehicle traffic in Delhi. KMP Expressway will reduce the heavy traffic by diverting approximately 50,000 commercial vehicles.
KMP Expressway has been developed over 2,846 acres of land, the land acquiring cost was approx. INR 2,788 crore. The new expressway will cover 5 districts of Haryana Sonepat, Gurugram, Palwal, Mewat & Jhajjar. The total length of KMP Expressway & Eastern Peripheral Expressway is about 270 Kilometers.
The Expressway has 8 small bridges, 6 large bridges along with 34 underpasses and 64 pedestrian crossings. Also, the six-lane expressway will have many refreshment shops, petrol pumps, a trauma centre, helipad, recreational facilities, parking space and police booths.
