Gurgaon which is now known as Gurugram has emerged as one of the favourite destinations for Fortune 500 companies and more than 20% of these companies have already set up their delivery and operational centres in this town.
Gurugram city will thus have the potential to employ more than 10 lakh people by 2020 in some of the major sectors like automobile manufacturing, banking, textiles, technology, readymade garments and even petrochemical.
In the year 2017, more than six large and medium industrial units and 1000 small-scale industrial units, involving an investment of Rs 820 crore, have set up their base in Gurgaon.
