Where & How To Apply For Driving License in Gurgaon

Here is the Procedure to Apply for Driving License in Gurgaon –

Address: Mini Secretariat (मिनी सचिवालय) Shanti Nagar, Shivaji Nagar, Sector 11, Gurugram, Haryana 122001.

Learner’s License – 

To apply Driving license in Gurgaon, First you have to apply for learner’s license. You have to carry following

Documents –

• Two Passport Size Latest Photographs
• ID Address Proof – Aadhar Card/ Passport/ Voter ID Card,  etc.
• Dob Proof- Pan Card / Class 10th Certificate.

To Apply you have to go Ekal Seva Kendra at Mini Secretariat in Gurgaon.

After reaching at Mini Secretariat in Gurgaon, There are many pimps are roaming around, But you have to ignore them and buy Learner’s License form/file which is for Rs. 50/- Only.

You have to fill that file with the complete details and documents and attach the photographs too. After completing the file you have to go for Medical Room, which is there only you can ask anyone they will help you to find Medical Room, You have to pay Rs. 150/- fee, signed the document from Medical Room visit Counter No. 3 – The person will cross check your file and sign. After that you have to go for Computer Driving Test, Its little difficult you have to answer all the questions wisely. The person will give you a receipt after completing the computer test. They will click your photo there and you have to pay the fees over there. You will get a receipt from there, which is your learner’s license until you get your actual license delivered at your address through courier. It takes time 3 – 7 Weeks.

Permanent Driving License  – 

One month after you get your learner’s license at your home, You can apply for a Permanent Driving License in Gurugram.  

You need following documents to apply for Permanent License.

• 1 Passport size Latest Photograph.
• ID Address Proof, (Aadhar Card/ Voter Id/ Passport Or Pan Card)
• Date of Birth – Class 10th Certificate.

You have to go again Ekal Sewa Kendra and purchase a new Permanent Driving License Form from the same counter where you bought learner’s license file, fill the form and carry your learner’s license along with it. Now you have to pass the Driving Test which happens only in the morning 10- 1 PM Monday to Friday. Reach around 9-10 am there. You have to go there and submit your file and wait for your turn. you can give your test to your bike or Car. The Instructor will ask you Traffic Rules signs and their meaning which are very difficult so be prepared in advance. If you cleared the tests to go to Counter No. 3 and the person will check your documents and file again and sign it. You have to submit your fees over there only which is around Rs. 560/- (Keep change with you). The receipt you will get is your permit to drive your vehicle on roads,  But your original Driving License will come after around one month at your given address.
